What an amazing man, truly inspirational, still battling, but seems to be winning!

Yeah watched this, Watson was the unluckiest Boxer going. He was the True all round boxer. Too many critics knock Watson for his loss to McCallum, but he just wasnt sharp coming into that fight a year out of the ring and came in recovering from a cold. McCallum said he was relieved that he didnt have to fight Watson on the original fight date as then Watson was in prestine condition.
To me Watson would have given Jones Jr, Hopkins and Calzaghe a 50/50 fight. I had Watson winning the 1st eubank fight 115 -113.

Truly inspirational what a fighting spirit he still has , twice he changed things for the better, for pro boxers , Sadly the second change nearly cost him his life .He won the first fight by 116 113 on my card and should have been making a voluntary defense instead of a rematch with eubank who has to be one of the toughest British fighters of all time.Watson never fails to amaze he is not bitter and has no regrets which is amazing

yes he was, Watson had everything who could want in a boxer, he had defence and he could attack.

he suffered promotional wise but if he was around today the likes of Chavez Jnr, Pirog, Geale, Sylvester etc in the middleweight division would not live with him.

I'd also say he would better all the current top 168 fighters also.

just finished watching it, and the reunion with Eubank was truly something, especially Watson's comments, but it was Eubank when he was trying to talk about it that made it hit home - lump in the throat stuff

After that fight Eubank fought 23 more times and only stopped 6 (well below world level) opponents, Eubank was clearly affected by it.
