An offer will be made to Di Roccos team to try and bring him to Glasgow to fight Limond for the European Title

How do we think this could pan out ?

I'm sure that its not the full European title, it's the EU version that Michel di Rocco holds. As far as I'm aware Denis Shafikov still holds the full European title.

I'd give Willie a good chance in this bout if he can stick to his boxing and not get drawn into a scrap.

My mistake, would be a great fight for Willie and Scottish boxing as a whole. The more big fights we get up here the better. Hopefully I could get a couple of my boys on the bill!!!!

Tbh I was expecting it to go a few more rounds but the right hand to the temple for the first knockdown was a sickening shot and Michael did well to get up. I think the fight should have been stopped after the second knockdown though.

I thought Willie looked pretty much done after his flat performance against Crolla, but he looked extremely sharp in his last outing, he could win this

Not meaning to hijack the thread but when do you think Traynor will be stepping up a bit more and how far do you think he can go? I knew him through a friend and seemed like a good lad, lived just up the road from him but only seen his one fight on the Lee-Shafikov undercard (i think)

Willie seriously struggled to make weight for Corolla, i think thats why he was flat that night.

Darren can definitely challenge at British level and if he improves could maybe go further, he trains really hard and I'd like to think he will be boxing for the Scottish Featherweight title later this year or early next year.

I'd love to see willie get a shot at di rococo but there's not a hope in hell of him coming here, willie would need to travel I think defo a winnable fight but getting a decision over there impossible unless you stop em
He's only traveled once to Finland and won I assume his promoter lost the purse bids,Wereas willie would be a voulatary so it would be in Italy should it happen
