Fighting maybe but what you must understand is Manny doesnt want to fight anybody that is a real boxer, counter-puncher. Manny could cause alot of problem being short, lefty and good stamina, but he would eat a jab, get tied up on the inside and have no answer for the straight right hand. Manny does offer good angles but if you keep him in the middle of the ring and make him circle then where would the angles come from and keep him honest with a stiff jab.

Think about the fights Manny or should I say Bob Arum has refused. Marquez for a trilogy for obvious reasons. Toughest fight that he has ever been in because Marquez knows how to counter Manny in between his punches and he fights back with accurate counters that Manny doesnt see coming.

Martine too big ok same size as Margarito but whatever. Up to you too believe what you think. Not managed by Arum

Yuri Foreman too big. made himself look silly when Cotto dismantled Foreman. Once again a mover with good boxing skills, nice jab same size as Margarito with less power and heart.

In the 140 lb division. Do you really consider Diaz and the Mayweather defeated Hatton to be his toughest challenges. Lets see who was around at the time of those fights.

Floyd throws 20 and will land 18-19 out of 20

Manny will land 7-8 out of 120

and after a few rounds of counters his work rate will eventually drop

look at the stats of all of Floyd's opponents, they all have the lowest work rates of any of their fights against him

 

clottey is a good boxer/counter puncher with great defense
