    Yes, he already secured a berth prior to losing to Carrillo.

    All that cost him was some pride (and even so, not much, as he was punching above his natural weight and in with a talented amateur).

    It didn't affect his going to Rio and doesn't appear on his pro record. Like it never even happened.
