pretty good fight in the end. Forrest is strong. Piccirillo is very weak. Quick stoppage but MP had no chance. Forrest is not bad but Alcine would dominate him.

He'd have been unable to continue anyway with a broken ankle.

Italians by percentage leave the ring on a stretcher much more than other nationalties.

    Oh, the drama.

I will say this though, who was the last Italian fighter who could break an egg with BOTH HANDS? The country seems to produce the toughest most featherfisted fighters in boxing, Damiani, Branco, Piccirillo, Malanaggi, the guy who got his shoulder broken by Cotto, none of them could punch a lick. Rocky Marciano has been dead A LONG TIME.

Could you explain me do you think Alcine would dominate him ?

I've followed Alcine's career since his pro debut and I really fail to see what is so great about him. He's got a solid jab but his defense is pretty shaky and his chin suspect. Even at this stage of his career (36 years old, plenty of injuries), I still think Forrest would be too much for him.

For fun. It just struck me, how many times did the Nardiello brothers pull the same crap? Just an observation.

Alcine has a hard jab that is very fast and also has a longer reach than Forrest. Piccirillo landed his jab often, and Alcine's jab is both stronger and faster.

Forrest also threw alot of shots that fell short against Piccirillo, which Alcine would exploit. Alcine is good at controlling distance with his jab and if Forrest falls short with shots that leave him open he will pay. Michele didn't have the power and accuracy to exploit Forrest's shortcommings but Alcine does.

Moreover Alcine is a good body puncher, which is an old man's krytonite. If Forrest wasn't tired at the end of that round its cause 1st of all MP didn't throw to the body, and second of all he looked much smaller.

Another thing is that Forrest looked strong in this fight but not as strong as Travis Simms who is also very skilled, strong, and also a southpaw, and thats a fight that Alcine won handily when he was, according to post fight interviews, afflicted by the flu.
