Apparently the fight would be at 122 pounds.

If Dogboe carries the weight well, which I think he will he’s certainly got a chance, not been sold on Michael “Mick” Colman.....terrible ring nickname.

Ceart go leoir! Very clever with the it's Irish lingo!
Actually you're possibly wrong on both counts though...you're Definitely wrong linguistics wise .. we call the language "Irish" not Gaelic, and it's possible ...only possible mind...that you're wrong about conlon too and it turns out to be a bit like Josh Warrington....not looking convincing, but proving to be deceptive and getting there in the end...

Dogboe's got some serious heart but he needs to stay at 122 and just stay away from Navarette (which he will do now anyway).

Dogboe absolutely slaughters him. This is way too big a step up in class for Conlan. A rare miscalculation by The Bobfather if it actually occurs.

Not even the slightest touch of it. TJ is class too, great champion. Conlan way too much for him

I'm not so sure. If Mick fights like he used to as an amateur or early pro when he took way too much punches then yes certainly dogboe could win. But in his recent fights conlon has taken far fewer punches. With improved defence, better footwork and a good engine, plus being a lot bigger conlon could beat dogboe. A big ring would help conlon. I could see this being a bit like frampton v Warrington. I like dogboe but he has limited skills. Mick should be able to outbox him.

100% . I genuinely cant see how Dogboe beats Mick. Hes just too big and all wrong for Dogboe. Micks hardly been hit in his whole professional career and then takes a big step up like this and still attracts hate.

You think Conlan has too much for TJ in all honesty? I think TJ is far too slick and powerful. Just too varied in his talent overall for Conlan to handle at 122 in particular. At 126 it'd be more even but its no certainty for Conlan, much like Dogboe isn't.

To be fair to his critics Mick did look vulnerable in his earlier pro fights. I was very critical of him myself. But they seem to have failed to notice the improvements Mick has made recently...particularly in his defense. Unless the fight is in a phone box I can’t see Dogboe beating Mick provided ... and this is critical...Mick fights the right fight.

What hasn’t helped either is the long string of Irish boxers that have failed ...and been overhyped, often ridiculously overrated....in recent times. This hasn’t helped credibility wise. But it isn’t fair to tar all Irish boxers with the one brush. Mick is better than his brother, Tommy McCarthy, the lad taureano Johnson best etc etc. lumping Mick in with these guys is just lazy thinking.

Fair enough mate I can see why you would think that. Just think Conlans way too big and just better all round. Mick wont make 122 anymore either way. Think TJ's movement be too much for Dogboe also. And 126 a step too far for Dogboe against Mick. Just my opinion ,sure time will tell

I understand where the thinking comes from, be different if Mick was after blasting his opponents out in a few rounds. His critics just don't appreciate him completely outboxing his opponents to date. Plus Mick takes a good shot and is well conditioned
