He doesn't like talking about himself which is very unusual in his job.

I've only ever seen one interview with him which was in Boxing Monthly some years ago now.

Legend has it that this Tee-shirt was once owned by Mick before it became too small for him...

I spoke to him at the York Hall and he smiled at me upon hearing that I had lost my money due to them changing the date of the Froch fight. Kind of wound me up. I have always backed his door but I can't see what the hell he is doing at this point. If Froch were to go I culd see an exodus. Shame he does seem like a nice bloke but he has been a right ****-up merchant lately.

If he had taken a reduced amount from Sky and got Froch vs Taylor on, Froch would be huge now and able to command the T.V. fees he asks for.

Was this at Nottingham show? i was there also but had to leave straight after sadly would have loved to have chatted to him. Seems to me like he is actually a v gd promoter BUT in the last year has rested on his laurels i mean he achieved a lot has had a few world titlists and a few fringe world title contenders built up froch and got him in super 6 and also gt ITV deal ahead of Warren + Maloney. But Witter, Elcock have fallen by the wayside Froch ha sflourished but his Tv deal seems to leave him completely outmanouvered atm

In important meetings he tends to fidget and look at his phone in complete silence

Speaking to a friend of mine few weeks back and he's around the se london area and he said word is Mick's mother died and he's taken it really badly and that's why he's got that tash.

I don't get his decision making at all...he's really frustrating because he wants his fighters to fight the best which some promoters don't but yet he gets them these big fights and doesn't secure deals with tv channels because he seems to let pride get better of him.
