did he lose his house on the hughie vs parker fight? he probably lives on a site with the fury clan now.
Anyone remember those halcyon 2004 late-Summer days of Hennessy cards with the then novice Froch, Haye and Witter replayed on the BBC on a Sunday...
i have no idea why people on the internet would take glee on somebody trying hard to good in boxing? that is why Big Fat Scotch Pie Billy Nelson ****ed off
Fk me, now that is poor judgement. With the absolute greatest respect, would you stake your house on the back of the success of a semi-literate traveller?
even on here it seems taboo to give any credit to Hennessy without adding some pathetic childish dig. a recent youtube vid shows a respectful man who understands and cares about British boxing a man who has put together some good British bouts over the last 20 years, who takes time to appreciate opponents who have dedicated their lives to the sport. yet the comments section is full of the type of football casuals that have been raised purely on a diet of s*y television who seem to be boxing connoisseurs all of a sudden. they understand nothing, probably unaware of who he is even talking about and thanking for their efforts, just happy to echo each others 'jokes' that mick fat ha ha h hahahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaaAaaaaahhhahahah hahahaha. mick hennessy has put together a lot of shows on terrestrial tv, and from 2000 onwards is probably the only person making boxing accessible to fans to wont or cant pay organizations like news corp for cable/satellite. in recent memory, froch witter fury, all on tv at prime time doing good viewing figures progressing nicely through the ranks. for sure he has made plenty of mistakes by the looks of things, but what do we know of how things work and the situations he has been in? zero. the abuse he gets is a total joke
Hats off to Mick for staying loyal and for trying his best to make it big time. Would have expected Tyson to have stood by him even if it meant bringing him into the fold even with a percentage of anything he does with Fwank and BT. Who knows what’s happening behind the scenes.
