Power and Fury in the ring.

Let me repeat that.

Power and Fury in the ring. :yep

 

Round 1

Fury strokes the space in front of Power's face with his jab. Power tries to time a sequence of jabs by jumping inside between them but Fury catches him with a counter hook. A 1-2 from Fury lands on the gloves but backs Power up. Fury sets up a right hand with a double jab and Power ducks but takes the blow on the back. Power keeps trying to jab his way in but Fury's reach is an issue. Fury jabs to the body and tries to bring a right hand upstairs but Power counters him on the way in. Fury lands a nice right hand and tries to size Power up for another.

Round 2

Fury pounding his way forward with right hands as both leads and crosses off the jab. Power tries to land straight left hands to the body and then clinch. Fury continues to menace with the 1-2 but Power keeps ducking under the finishing blow. Fury's left jab is caught against the right glove of Power, who comes forward and digs a right hook to the body. Fury backs Power across the ring with his jab without landing it. Fury opens up with combo of right hands and left hooks.

Round 3

Fury lines up his right hand with his jab as usual. Fury gets a bit reckless, throwing straight rights and uppercuts and landing a few but not getting Power in serious trouble before the flurry ends. Power is tying him up and tapping him with left uppercuts and right hooks on the inside. Fury keeps throwing short and powerful combos centered around the right hand. A clubbing right hand hits the side of Power's head and pushes him off balance a bit. Power lays on the ropes as Fury goes to the body.

Round 4

Fury tries to maul Power and continues to land power punches as Power tries to roll with them in the pocket, and Power lands a sweeping left hand. Power is charging hard but getting shut down by the reach of Fury and the two are doing less infighting and more holding. Power runs at Fury and is pushed partway through the ropes headfirst. Fury lands a couple of jabs to the face and a right to the body as Power backs slowly away. Looping right hand hits Power on the side of the head. Fury wades in with some underhands to the body and Power grabs and pushes him off. Fury chases with the jab.

40-36 Fury

 

Power complains in the corner of a possible broken hand.

 

Round 5

Power comes out with a southpaw 1-2 but immediately is put in reverse by Fury's left jab. Power is no longer defending as well and the right hand is thudding into his chin. Power sinks to his knees from a kidney punch and it is ruled a slip. Fury shoeshines and Power tries to land a big left hand. Fury asserts his range with his jab and Power hangs back to avoid being hit with it. He walks into the end of one and it bounces off his nose and snaps his head back a little. Fury lands a right as Power keeps pressing forward and getting brushed with the jab. Another big right hand turns Power's head.

I'm listening to try and determine just that. :thumbsup He just keeps repeating "My hand. My hand is ****ed".

 

Round 6

Fury slaps with jabs and right hands as Power is knocked into the corner. Fury times Power circling right with a right to the jaw. Fury lands a right and a left hook to the body. Power throws a desperate overhand left that only clips Fury on the chin and they tie up. Fury bullies Power into a corner again. The jab sets him up to stand in front of Power and tee off to the body. HUGE left uppercut from Power off the ropes sends Fury upright with his head turning and his mouthpiece flying. Fury goes a bit batty and clubs at Power in the corner. Power goes down - slip again?
