Michael should fight Steven Tiffany for the Scottish at feather. Both with mgm easy to make and tiff sells a barrel of tickets as does Micheal. Eddie Hearn offered jnr to move upto light weight and fight Charlie Flynn for Celtic title on short notice on burns card but refused. I just think he needs to realise he's no longer classed as a prospect and it's more over protected. Ronnie was slow against Jordan mccorry cause he was over 11 stone in the ring and done the weight silly. Losing a tone of weight on the morning. His next performance if it's similar then questions be asked but at moment with no fight penned in he's in incredible shape. I believe jnr may struggle with expierience though and just from sparring I felt Ronnie had his number but he's a tidy we boxer and if he had a bit of pop to his punches could do well. Lewis Paulin can be hurt though and Micheal would have a chance. Sam kynoch is quite an honest guy and maybe a wee Facebook message and ask about jnr and what his plans are or senior on Twitter.

Why would Roberts jnr worry abt fighting Clark ?
Roberts will have no problems stepping up when he gets the a break to fight someone of better qaulity his level of sparring etc has been of the highest calibre you can get in scotland for years

Why the jealousy towards young Roberts is it because hes mad more money that Clarke or because he boxed superbly on sat night .

well why would mick jr still be fighting the level of journeyman he is after 19 fights? :patsch

mick jr is wasting his career and his dad is trying to live through his boys career but by not letting him off the leash all he is doing is regressing mick jr because he will end up with a sparring mentality rather than a fighting one :good

how do you see him against the other guys mentioned? lewis paulin, stephen tiffany or darren traynor? i personally think all of them and ronnie clark beat him :good

against a journeyman who has only ever won fights at the 'joker gym venue' :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

im not the biggest fan of ronnie clark but his attitude is second to none, i don't think heh will ever win the british title but he will give anyone at super feather a good fight:good

mick jr will never win anything whilst his dad is behind the scenes picking his opponents:patsch

Looking from the outside in it looks like michaels had. Afew moves of training camp etc and iv heard rumours hes been unlucky with almost getting a few big fights that have fell through and im sure both michaels would jump at any good opportunity that may arise .

where are the hard man comments:huh:huh

everyone in scotland knows that mick snr has always picked his sons fights even at amateur level, he goes on about how his son will only fight x,y,z if there is something on the line but at the same time every other boxer at his son's weight are getting decent fights and opportunities and mick jr is still fighting journeymen. fact:good:good

i agree that it is about making money but don't you think as a boxing fan (if you are one) that it is also about entertaining those fans that pay to watch him fight:hey:hey:good

you are basically saying that mick roberts jr is happy to keep fighting journeyman to fill his pockets with cash:rofl:rofl i hope his fans don't read this forum as his ticket sales might decline pretty quickly:good

you are obviously related or friends with mick jr/snr because you have created an account just for this thread:good

if you would care to look through my previous posts on other threads you will see that i am certainly not a ronnie clark fanboy, his technique isn't the best, his family think he is better than he is but at the end of the day he has had very little amateur background and has tried stepping up against unbeaten fighters. he hasn't beat these guys and imo he never will but i know he will at least step up. unlike mick jr:good
