    fights are relatively easy to make if you want them, it might mean fighting someone in england instead of glasgow but if you truly believe that you are good enough to win then you take the fight and will get paid handsomely for it:good

    especially when he was involved with alex morrison at the same time as he was getting loads of tv shows because of ricky burns world title run, mick jr could have asked his manager to get him a bigger name and with micks massive ticket sales the fight could have been done at one of them:good

    at the end of the day we will know if/when he steps up but a 6 year pro career and never even fighting for the area title is poor no matter what you or mick snr say:good

    I've heard they sparred at lochend and ronnie was getting the better of him but paul isn't the fighter he used to be and don't really think that sparring stories add up to much tbh:good

    but since you like a sparring story, how did mick jr get on with lewis ritson? heard big billy had to call his boy off mick jr?:good

    lets not go down that road, I'm not connected in anyway to ronnie clark. I'm from edinburgh and would like to see mick jr with lewis paulin or stephen tiffany and imo they both beat mick jr. actually i fancy wordy mccorry to beat him too:good

    Was it not bellshill and did appleby not drop him twice ?
    Your sparring storys are not very gd are they there a mile out lol you obv dont rate Roberts as you dont take him to beat many people do you ?

    I've never heard about sparring over there, i only really hear about the sparring edinburgh way but i don't put much into sparring stories as I've said previously:good

    you seem to think i am some sort of big fan of ronnie clark and that is the funniest thing i have heard in a while. :good

    to answer your question, i rated him when he started off as a professional and knew him pretty well from his amateur days but the fact he is fighting journeyman, and not even journeyman that come to win is very worrying at this stage in his career. hopefully he proves me wrong and wins a british title but until he fights someone with a pulse I will not hold my breath:good:good

    MAGINDO how can you question anyone when your not saying who you are.. Maybe you should ask Paul what happened in sparring he has never dropped Ronnie. The only thing that happened was Ronnie had a operation on his stomach and decided to spar a couple of days later. He kept bursting his stitches and they decided to stop the sparring when they found out how silly Ronnie was being. I don't agree with Boxing Crazy that Ronnie won't win a British Title. We see a different Ronnie in sparring and training he's not hit top form in the ring. Of his 3 loses he definitely beat Craig Evans... It was close against Troy James if it was another 2 rounds Ronnie would of stopped him IMO.. He got it wrong against Cacacae went out on his shield.. He wasnt and hasn't been badly hurt in any fight was exhaustion and balance that caused his problems in that fight.. Either fighter could of been stopped in that last round but Anto caught Ronnie with a beauty of a shot.. He felt he was too small against Anto and purposely came in very heavy against Jordy.. He was terrible but still won... Also everyone who has seen the fight know Ronnie Beat Ryan Walsh (who will win a world title) and Maxi Hughes(who is a very good fighter).. Results need to be better and hopefully his new management will get the right fights at the right time so he gets a fair crack at the whip.. As for jnr fight someone stop fighting bums who are there to lose and fight a competitive fight let's see how good his powder puff boxing does against a live challenger.. It's the exact same as Jon Slowey

    i come on here to talk boxing, if you don't agree with my posts then that is your opinion. i don't try change your opinion things so don't try change mine:good

    if mick roberts jr does scotland proud and wins titles (sorry i can't say i will be proud he is making money) then i will be the first person on here to congratulate him. :good

    you my man come across as a childish person that can't respect the fact that others can have an opinion.:good

    as for your sparring stories, ronnies brothers post on here (davidee1983 and jamie2011) you can argue with them about sparring stories as they enjoy that kind of thing:good:hi:
