Garcia is a beast, but he took the first chance he got because he knew how big a lead he had in the fight (which is smart but sneaky ). And Salido was coming on too.

The kid is p4p material but you have seen other fighters with broken noses fight on

the pressure salido was putting on him was getting pretty insane... it looked like salido was gaining the mental edge in the latter rounds, so i dont fault mikey for quitting.

but its just that, he did quit.

The difference is this broken nose was a result of a head butt. Just as if the head butt would of opened a gash that the doctor would of considered bad enough to stop the fight. Same here, the head butt put Mikey in an unfair position being that it didn't come via a punch.

Robert pulled the plug, Team Garcia was waaaaaay ahead on the cards.
Siri was getting his ass kicked the entire night.

The Butt was accidental... The stoppage was calculated.

  5. It did look like he wanted out..... I wanted to see if Mikey had the paddle to sail away from the storm in deep waters.

:patsch showed his Chicano roots :patsch.

It showed how a corner consisting of a fighter's brother and father will be quick to protect their fight.

Dont turn it into a racist thing punk, Yes Mikey should have fought on he himself even said that during the post fight interview, and when a fighter says something like that, then you already know he could have continued.

Either way cut out the race baiting

I was rooting for Siri but Mikey was playing around with him. He shouldn't have to fight with a broken nose that came from a butt, it would give an unfair advantage to Siri.

I heard Robert speak to and official and mention something about the scorecards to which Robert replied ok.Salido was going to get knocked out eventually.Salidos pressure and mikeys knowledge of salidos attacks would of eventually left salido laid out.

Big Garcia fan, but I have to admit, that was somewhat of a calculated and welcomed stoppage. Garcia was boxing beautifully, but there's no denying Salido was getting stronger and landing some hard overhand rights which Garcia didn't look like he had an answer for. I can understand why some are annoyed with the stoppage, but at the same time, it was a nasty headbutt which caused it. May be a bit harsh to expect a fighter to carry on after being debilitated by an illegal, all be it accidental, blow.
