Papke needs to break Walker in order to beat him and I don't think he could do it.

Rough and tumble s****, but the better Walker takes a decision.

Prime for prime this is a very intriguing matchup. Walker was a true all time p4p great and Papke is underrated. Papkes problem was he hated to train and hated to make weight. That could be a big problem against someone like Walker. This one, prime for prime, is too close to call imo. Very very intriguing matchup and good job to the op on one ive never thought of. If this fight were on ppv today its the type of fight youd tell your casual friends to watch, the type of fight that would make new fans of the sport.

If Papke brought that dislike that he brought in for Ketchel for Walker Mickey would have an even rougher go of it in this one

Hudkins spread Walker pretty thin in their first encounter but Mickey came into their second bout and boxed very well

Papkes best work would be done in close and I think he would do well there, but ultimately id favor Walker to grab the decision

This is a terse but perceptive view. Walker said he found most heavies easier because he could see their slower punches coming and evade them. Papke was not slow and could bang ,he gives Walker life and death, but ultimately fails.

I would think Papke would take one victory from a trilogy.

This is a result I see as extremely unlikely. If you can go tooth and nail with Ketchel ,no one is banging you out easily.:-(

    Thx for the views everyone.
I think it would be close and vicious...Walker has the versatility to box off the back foot (Hudkins 2) and that would be what serves him here. Walker decision for me.
