Two guys that moved up and down the scales and were successful in big fights (and lost a few too).

154 lbs seems a good "catch" weight to fight at.

    Who wins?????

    Interesting matchup:good
At the moment I'm inclined to go for the Bulldog ,but input from others may sway me.
I hope this thread gets the attention it deserves.

I think this would be a great fight...I've always thought Duran (at his best) at welterweight could decision Walker at that limit. But as this hypothetical moves up in weight, Walker improves...Duran doesn't IMO.
Against Davey Moore, Duran was so sharp getting underneath Moore's fast punches and going hard to the body...Duran's use of angles to get off those body shots was an amazing exhibition. Duran's guile would push Walker...But Walker would be relentless and very strong. I think if Duran was hurting Walker to the body with his left hook, Walker would be strong enough to clamp down on that arm, in the clinches. Walker also has the ability to pivot very well as seen when he boxed Ace Hudkins...Davey Moore was a sitting duck for Duran...Walker wouldn't be...It's a great fight. Duran better defensively, Walker is stronger and very experienced himself...I think Walker forces Duran onto the backfoot, but Duran is adaptable, and actually fights well against aggressive fighters as a counter puncher....DRAW.
But with that said, any other version of Duran that shows up other then the Moore fight, gets beaten up by Walker...in a decision.
