mickey ward vs brandon rios

love mickey ward, but probably go with bam bam, too strong and more skilled

 

Brandon is not exactly hard to find, and Mickey's world class left hook will find a home, repeatedly. I remember Strong as a bull Shea Neary being broken down by it, Brandon may have a great chin...and superhuman determination..but he has one track and one gear...Forward..Onward...Into...Ward...and that Left Hook..
If he had a bit of versatility...Like Gatti or Antonio Diaz..to go with that eagerness for Battle he would have chances..but he would not be on a
Track-to-Wack pursuit of a mobile boxer, but a tough tough guy in his own right..with that world class Bad Cargo...in the loading bay...ready to deposit...with Precision...It takes the Steam out of Brandon then bursts the boiler.

 

Looking back on Ward's performance against Neary, I'd say he takes it.

 

It would be a battle.

I lean towards Rios slightly.

Brandon would hurt mickey I think. Still love mickey though he gave it all

 

Id favor Rios, but you cant underestimate a Ward left hook to the body

 

Ward is probably the more disciplined guy, so I gotta go with him.

 

Ward was very limited , Rios stops him in around 8.

Rios would win early/most rounds, Ward's only chance imo is to find a home with that left to the body consistently, and load up enough on one to put the tough Rios away (which is a far shot).
