    Ward on top form.

    Is it at least interesting?

Micky Ward is always interesting..I think Miguel would win out in the end, but Micky doesn't quit. I still get goosebumps watching Ward-Gatti I, he was such a great fighter in my opinion.

I honestly think Ward might of had better one shot power to the body. Cotto's more of a consistent body attacker... Ward leveled some good fighters with literally single bodyshots.

He made Gatti take a knee... Not something that's easy to do.

Oh no question about that. If you left your body open against Micky you were done. He was much slower and more deliberate, but he could really turn a fight around even in the last rounds of a fight with one shot to the body.

Micky just lost to fighters that were faster as he didn't usually throw many punches per round. Miguel would outpunch/outland him for a UD

Yeah, Ward could fight at glacial speeds sometimes. It was weird, I don't know what got into him.

Unusual for a fighter that could get into such prolonged high intensity brawls.

Cotto comfortably decisions him. But Mickey Ward is Mickey Ward, he will always have his moments.

If he was in close, he was dangerous, but he simply didn't box. His lack of a jab really cost him against faster fighters that just threw quick combinations. On the rare occasion he got to fight another brawler he could usually reel in the victory, although I think you could see his lack of finishing ability in the Ward-Gatti III. He had one punch power, but it just seemed like he didn't want to throw anything at times.

Cotto would be arrested and charged with man slaughter after this fight.
