Micki Nielsen vs. Mirko Larghetti RBR

Round 6

Nielsen is doubling his right jab into Larghetti's face and keeping his distance. Larghetti catches up and Nielsen grinds in to hold, pulling Larghetti into a tight embrace. Chopping rights on the face by Larghetti on the inside. Nielsen is trading freely with him and cracking him with some heavy lefts. A couple of accidental low blows as Nielsen steps outside looking to get full extension on the declining straight left.

Can the second half live up to how entertaining, tidy and steady-paced the first was? :think

I kind of doubt it. Both are coming off rails in their stamina, punching loosely.

 

Round 7

Larghetti is getting in some excellent left hooks on the body, swinging his way in with a full swivel of his upper body throwing with both hands, putting Nielsen on the ropes. Nielsen spins him to switch positions and mugs Larghetti against the ropes. Left uppercut inside by Nielsen, scrubbing Larghetti above the navel but only grazing and doing no damage. Nielsen holding a lot now. Larghetti places a right hand down the middle but gets hooked and left-crossed into the ropes for his troubles. Larghetti is willing to eat shots to get inside and pour leather on Nielsen.

Nielsen did get in the best couple of shots near the end, but it wasn't enough to steal the seventh IMO.
