To coincide with the recent release of The Fighter, I think this is an excellent opportunity to remind ourselves about what happens after the lights and cameras have been turned off and fight night is over.

I cannot believe how many posters throw around the term "bum" so freely on ESB, which to me is a slap in the face to each and every fighter who has sacrificed and worked hard to compete in a sport we all claim to love.

Doesn't matter if your record is 30-0 or 20-10; champion or contender; or a PPV superstar or a local clubfighter, there should be some level of respect from fans.
