Middle-of-the-week PPV - Jhonny Gonzalez vs. Jackson Asiku RBR

Harris is throwing jabs and trying to move in reverse fast enough to get off straight lefts. Roman is just motoring along in his wake and blasting him despite a bloody nose. Harris is pinned to the ropes and lands a nice little combo with just the free left hand (first as an uppercut, then with a hooking shot and another uppercut). Roman keeps plugging away to the body with upward shoeshines to the gut from a low crouch and eventually lands a left hook to the liver. On a delayed reaction, Harris goes to his knees and is physically unable to beat the count (rising at exactly "10").

 

Fernando Vargas says he weighs 185 right now and "if" he were to get back in the ring it would be at light heavyweight. :yikes

OK, they're showing him now and he's being a bit generous with himself. I weigh 185 and have only an inch on Vargas. He is much fatter than me. :yep

 

He didn't box too badly; Roman just bullied him and gave no quarter (and may have liquidated at least one of his organs with that last hook).

 

Don't give them any ideas! :-(

 

They're in the ring, along with Jimmy Lennon Jr. and Kenny Bayless.

Asiku's mohawk looks like it was cut with the use of a triangle protractor. :blood It's a geometrical marvel!
