I don't know if anyone else noticed, but those fighters on the undercards are going to be a force in a few years. Matt Korobov, danny jacobs, and Erislandy Lara. I was so impressed by all 3 of them. What do you guys think?
If they all weighed in over 160 at the weigh in, not sure they hold much promise for 160 or were these the contracted weights?
Matvey Korobov always fought at 166 lbs as an amateur so you can assume that he will move to SMW in the foreseeable future.
No, not at all. Pro boxers lose alot of water weight before a weigh-in, in the amateurs you fight at your natural weight. If anything he is a small middleweight.
lara looks pretty good, as does jacobs. im more excited about korobov though. i saw his fight tonight and his last fight, hes a good young prospect with punching power.
He went up to 170 lbs at fight night, if you don't see that he is headed for SMW I can't help you. Korobov a small MW? WTF?? Than Valuev must be a small HW.
He's 5'9 and not particularly big. Do you know what pro boxers walk around at? If a boxer walks around at 170 you'd expect him to be a junior middle. I don't understand what relevance a heavyweight would have to this discussion as they don't have to make weight. You're not the brightest spark are you?
