I agree with him...there's some damn good talent on the way up at middleweight, all it needs is the exposure. Jacobs is definitely in that group of prospects/contenders to keep an eye on.

I think Fernando Guerrero is better and more exciting as a MW prospect/near-contender.

Plus he doesn't have 1/10 of the promotional backing that Jacobs has from Golden Boy, and Guerrero still has a much larger fan base.

The guy was ESPN's prospect of the year, so he's getting some pub.

He's a future title-holder, but nothing to be too excited about so far. He's a jack of all trades, master of none type. Nothing exceptional about him that wows you.

I don't know about his fan base, but the first half of that sentence must be true b/c I've never heard of him. I am going to look him up though, see if youtube has any of his fights.

Good fighter...seen fight on PPV undercards several times. Jacobs needs to step up in competition though. I believe he can win a belt at middleweight eventually, maybe even for the recently vacant WBO belt.

If slapping the stale beer smell of Pavlik is all it would take, yeah he is the next big thing. It will take more than that now that Martinez **** canned Pavlik.

He hasn't really fought anyone yet, he has skills but he seems to lack abit of explosiveness. Could go either way imo

He is fighting Pirog next. I have seen Pirog fight... this will be an extremely tough fight for jacobs and the upset isn't unlikely
