    Marshall was LHW duration champ after Bivins went up to HW full time.

    The key fact being WW2 really got speedrun so the duration belt got quietly discarded but in 1942 WW2 was easily could have ended up being a decade long project.

    you suggest early about the weight being closer to Hopkins day, which makes Marshall is a career Middleweight then, because he now has MONTHS between fights and just like everybody today would make the lesser weight divisions to his walk around weight...

    BHop's the bigger natural man, so he is the one with the size advantages Height & Reach. Lloyd Marshall in these modern times would be a Middleweight King.

    and that includes little difficult making the poundage.
