He'd survive plenty but it's very hard to narrow down. Anyone not willing to press hard probably ain't getting it done. I think Hagler would have been interesting in a rematch, even against Duran of their actual bout.
I think the obvious answer is Bob Fitzsimmons. Duran would struggle with lanky, powerful fighters and Bob's the archetype of that type of MW.
I think most of the time it goes to a decision. But Monzon certainly could up the tempo later on as Duran fades late (as he did vs Hagler)
Hopkins is one I see beating Duran for sure, but not koing him. Was he a big hitter as such? I don't know to be honest, I didn't see a great deal of his fights.
Got to say as well, Duran went the distance with Hagler. Not not many, as we know, did that against Marvin. He then took the best shots from Barkley years later. And Iran could punch. So maybe it's a lot harder to get Duran out than we may belive. Just thinking out loud.
