Seriously, why is this listed as the only fight on the card? A bout between a guy who is 1-4 and a guy making his pro debut?

What kind of show was this? Who else was there? Someone was on hand to get a description of what happened?

 

The rest of the show was cancelled out of respect to Lawal after he received medical attention in the ring.

 

So, a guy collapses during the first fight, and the rest of the show is cancelled? That doesn't sound like a pro card, does it? Not to be crass, but anyone who has watched boxing for any length of time has seen fight cards when someone was critically injured or died on an undercard. The show wasn't cancelled. Especially if it is the opening bout on a card.

I mean, Cleveland Denny died on the undercard of Leonard-Duran 1. People don't even bring it up anymore.

What kind of show was this, again? Who was Sherif Lawal - before he made his pro debut? Who else was supposed to fight on the card? Were these those social media guys or a card featuring white collar guys dabbling in boxing?

Just seems odd.

It was small card promoted by some nobody. So it kinda makes sense that the whole show collapsed.
They tried to resuscitate him in the ring and even used a defibrillator while still in the ring.

And in fairness, Danny was taken away from the ring rather quickly. They weren´t electrocuting him inside the ring. Lawal basically died right then and there.
