I disagree with the observation on Burley. He fought conservatively when against a seriously out-weighed puncher; I don't think he fought like this consistantly, and he certainly didn't fight like this in the Moore fight.

Look at the last round of the fight for example. He really takes the fight to Billy Smith when he realizes that the much bigger man is no longer a threat and probably because he wanted to leave an impression on the (Smith's hometown) judges.

    Fair to say GreatA.

Burley proceeded cautiosly in fights with some of the bigger guys he fought, I think, and Janitor's observation probably still holds weight in terms of style transference, BUT I suspect he sometimes was over-cautios and it may have cost him (the NC with Williams and the first Charles fight, for example).

I see you've uploaded this fight, any difference beweteen your version and the version already up?

The (greenish) version that was previously on youtube was taken off since the uploader's youtube account was suspended, which is why I re-uploaded it.

Why is this thread still going? I once watched Fitz workout; he was uprooting telephone polls while out on his run, great for those back muscles of his.

I agree Burley is a bad match up for Fitz, a harder fight than Robinson. Possibly the best chance of any middleweight at beating a prime Fitz.

    I don't know who I'd pick.
