I'm just wondering, not knocking on anyone, but when people keep on comparing fighters' speed when there's no footage of a particular fighter.

I have never read that Flowers had "serious power" .
I have read that he was inclined to hit with the open glove, and his fights with Greb describe him as being the" lighter hitter of the two",and "lacking a hard punch".
I dont think anyone would describe Greb as a puncher

Flowers % at 34% could be misleading ,but his stoppages are in the main, over run of the mill fighters.
I am prepared to be educated on this, what fights do you think he showed serious power in?
Personally I think Flowers is very overated and should not have got anywhere near the quarterfinal stage.

monzon ud 10-5,after taking a few rounds to get to flowers with his jab ,monzon establishes his jab to take most of the close rounds and in the later part of the fight he consistently lands left right combinations

:adminwhat?? that would have been incredible to see.

as to the thread: had to repetitive but this is all monzon. control of the distance, ring general ship, jab, and sneaky power in that right. i don't see flowers getting to him consistently at any point. tiger has his moments here and there, uses his southpaw stance to his steals some rounds but by the 12th, monzon has closed both his eyes and the ref has seen enough. Monzon TKO 12
