McClellan had a good chin, and was much bigger. Still, Hagler stopped most of his opponents, and McClellan was no defensive guru. I'd pick Hagler to break down McClellan slowly like he did many opponents, out-boxing him, and then finishing him when he had him hurt.

    I'll say 9 to 10 rounds.

Hagler might take some bombs in the process, especially if we are talking about an older Hagler who was easier to hit.

G man had an excellent chin .

I heard back then He and Hearns got into it in a sparring session and things got heated between the 2 .

Hearns removed his gloves and got to hit Gerald flush a few times and G man took it perfectly well .

I heard something like that on here. someone posted it a couple of years ago

G-Man breaks Marvin's ribs and makes him quit on his stool.

G man was an explosive hard banger . And i believe he can hurt Hagler . No question .

Although Hagler barely ever got hurt back in his day . His chin and endurance was that amazing .

McClellan's weakness was that he didn't carry his power into the 2nd half of the fight, wich would be needed to maul down someone like Hagler.
I think Marvin would stop him late.

Hagler dominates the later rounds, winning a comfortable decision or possibly a stoppage... The first half of the fight would be a wild one though.

    Without a doubt .

First 6 rounds would be a slugfest , the whole fight overall would be a thriller .

Hagler outboxed most of his opponents. There is no reason for him to slug it out with McClellan, whom despite his height and range, was no Hearns when it came to outside boxing skills.

That is unless we are talking about an older Hagler who was slower on his feet, and easier to hit.
