He beat Iran Barkley at MW when no one gave him a chance.

Sure but you're saying there would be no chance. If canelo could make ggg uncomfortable and back pedal imagine what Duran could have done to him.

Canelo is a better MW than Duran. He's not a tenth of a fighter but at MW Canelo's better than Duran

Which middleweights through history could stand toe to toe with the man that crushed Rubio, Ishida, Rosado, and Stevens?

    Many.

Carlos Monzon is practically the perfect fighter at middleweight; it is ridiculously easy to argue him the best on paper, too. Not sure how one could be familiar with both and not ride with Monzon all day... Hagler, Robinson, and Hopkins too (the Mt. Rushmore at MW) in addition to several fighters each of them faced.

Where's Greb? His résumé > All of there's combined
He is at range. He was not a good infighter. That's his only real flaw.
Whilst I'd argue that he is an excellent fighter and completely agree that it's easy to argue him the best H2H and him top 3/2. I think he loses fights to Hopkins, Toney and. Hagler, Walker and Ketchel are very difficult night's work

I pay mad respect to Greb and Ketchel, those with the other 4 I listed are my top 6 MW's ever, but I tend to not bother going there on this forum sometimes.

Based on what? Because he was from the golden days? Didn't realize Hagler was fighting fully grown men from the age of 9.

Yes yes, but who would win the story of the fight?

Duran took Hagler to decision (I had Hagler by two points, i think).

Duran would take him to decision at the least.

Joey Giardello! He would outbox GGG. So underrated.

I agree that Monzon is the most dominant middleweight. I would pick Greb over him though, as he's a nightmare style and attributes for Monzon.

    Monzon lose to Hopkins?

    Blasphemous.
