Hagler, and it's a good fight . Cerdan is tough but Marvin is a step above him.

My longtime middleweight dream match.

I'd rather this over Hopkins vs. Monzón any day, as a viewing experience. The latter is of course a fascinating match-up that I'd be curious to watch, but probably wouldn't enjoy.

 

Hagler at first seems too Big & Strong, but of course Cerdan fought bigger fighters too and as we know Duran, the Welter cum Middle, ran Hagler a good one.

Hagler - because we're supposed too, but No Way is Cerdan out of the possibility.

Now, Cerdan vs Duran would be a good one as well!

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but I always saw a resemblance between Cerdan and Marciano, meaning Marcel was kind of a junior version of Rocky. They kind of resembled each other physically, especially the bulldog strongly built bodies but they seemed to fight in a similar manner too. I haven't seen enough Cerdan fights to really judge though. What do you think?

Marcel was more scientific and Rocky more relentless, but not cut from dissimilar cloth in the least.
