Now, we all know how poor the US Midwestern circuit is, with fighters able to get wonderfully inflated records on it. I was just wondering if there are any fighters who though predominantly on that circuit that ended up holding one of the 'major' belts?

Oh, I was first thinking of Michigan fighters like Hearns, Robinson, Mayweather, and Louis.

Not sure about those who were on that "circuit" who did that well.

Bones Adams. Started on the midwest circuit, won a WBA belt.
