Might Be A Dumb Question But....

a one fight contract makes good business sense for fedor but for the ufc it's madness.

what if fedor smashes brock and then leaves. fedor comes in, shows he is the best and then rides off. that could be catastrophic for the ufc. at present, the ufc are the powerhouse and can make the world believe that fedor isn't fighting good fighters and brocks a smashing machine as are cain, carwin and co.

 

yea it would be bad if fedor smashed the current ufc champ and then leave but i dont think it will really hurt them since fedor is known as the best worldwide.

What i dont get is dana would give KIMBO a chance to fight in the ufc but not fedor. If it's one fight then so be it. MMA fans knows fedor is the best anyways.

 

Naw Fedor couldve fought in the UFC already if M1 didn't insist on co-promoting events. Dana did all he could short of allowing that.

 

As long as dana is the president i doubt it will happen but i hope the owner step up and tell dana to STFU and sign fedor to a one fight contract.

 

exactly dana is a *****.. he wanted all the money instead of letting m-1 co promote the event. Fedor after all was an m-1 fighter.

It's like saying let pac and mosley fight but top rank won't want golden boy to co-promote the fight.

 

Signing Fedor means co-promoting entire events with M1 like how the next Strikeforce card is being billed as M1/Strikeforce. There's no way Dana will ever let another org co-promote with the UFC especially one that only has one fighter of note in their entire stable. The balls in Fedor's managements court on this one.
