chavez fights at 185. He'd be a big punching bag for GGG. Actually. I'd like to see Chavez - Ward.

If it is indeed a choice from Chavez' camp they will not pick GGG but the network will push for it. Regardless: It is not easy to fight ag consistently as GGG without having any issues. A ramdom cut, training injury ect.. I just hope he stays healthy enough to fight four more times this year.

They would be fighting for the right to potentially retire Martinez, in the fall/winter.

According to the scene, Andy Lee may have pulled ahead of Geale for the April fight (uhhg), now that Kirkland will fight on the undercard.

I'm sure they'll use Chavez-Lee and Golovki-Lee as a promo tool for the ppv. I'm just not excited about Lee-Golovkin (as opposed to 5 years ago when I though it'd be an amazing fight). It'll be an interesting tactical fight from the outside for a few rounds until Gennady has made his way in and Andy's anxiety kicks in.

I would like to see GGG v Kirkland first. Later on a unification fight with Sergio, Felix or Pedro at 160. Maybe they see something in Jr and hurry before it gets exposed.

GG's fans want him to fight 154lb Kirkland...

You'd think they'd be tired of seeing him fight Jr MWs.

Kirkland has fought many times above 154. Besides GGG is a small middlweight and ready to fight at 154.

i disagree. triple G might be smaller than many who drop too much weight to get down to 160 but really he's about a perfect size for middleweight.

Is Golovkin planning a move up?, there's no way in hell Chavez would make 160 anymore.

Care to mention any Middleweights interested in fighting him?. DiBella made it clear Martinez is looking for some much deserved paydays before aiming for Golovkin, Murray openly turned it down, Sturm sure as hell won't take this fight, Geale is already scheduled to fight and there's no word from Quillin whatsoever.

As a massive GGG fan i'd be gutted if he fought Kirkland, Kirkland is a 154 fighter and not even the best 154 fighter GGG would smash him in 4 or 5 easy win for GGG, i'd love to see above all other GGG vs Sergio or the other MW belt holders, i don't think GGG should move up yet he has fights he needs at 160 first, Going up and fighting Ward now is stupid stepping up in weight and well up in class also. HBO need to put the money up get GGG a unification fight and then in 2015 he should move up but this year he needs to stay at 160

168 - however Golovkin would be making a temporary move to 168 for that single fight. Essentially he wouldn't be cutting weight. Team Golovkin are confident that even with the size disadvantage, Gennady would handle Chavez. Following that fight he'd return to 160 for Martinez and the other titles before truly going up to 168 for fights like Ward.

Compare him to the last big names at 160 - Hopkins, Pavlik, Taylor. He is smaller than all those guys. He is rather 154-160 than 160-168.
