Agree completely. After getting brutally ko'ed I thought Berchelt should have fought a much lower level fighter in his return.

Not sure why people are mad at Valdez for Berchelt being knocked out again. Does anyone even remember this is the same guy who was stopped in one round by Luis Florez?

Berchelt being stopped wasnt a big shocker for me. The valdez fight took alot out of him and tbh he just wasnt that dangerous a fighter i and alot of other posters made him out to be.

Holy crap! I have just watched the fight, and it is even worse than what I imagined after reading your commnents. Berchelt is completely gone... he's just not there any more

    :(

Ehhh, I mostly blame Berchelt's corner and the ref for letting him continue so long in the Valdez fight. They let him fight too long and this is kind of what I expected for his career going forward. Very sad way to see a fighters career end. He shouldn't come back as he is planning thus far.

I'm not sure if there were too many that would have expected him to beat Loma, but just wanted to see Loma in a tough fight since no one around seemed all that good at the time. Now that we got to see how everything played out 135 seems like the tougher weight class or at least the more interesting one. Regardless Berchelt is dust now and no threat to Loma or anyone at world class level.
