That's about how I saw it, give or take a round. Cordova gets a 10/10 rating for heart but couldn't solve the puzzle in a physically overmatched situation. Mendoza deserves it wide on points but you have to question his cojones (and chin) taking a kind of cheap & easy route to get there.

Alondra "Silenciosa" Nava came out to...idk, something Mexican and generic.

Diana "Bonita" Fernández entered, interestingly, to Chandelier by Sia, which is unequivocally about being a drunk slut.

 

@Serge @Drew101 @CST80 the CCA of Bonita Fernández leaves a bit to be desired, with the drab olive...but points for cutting a cleavage line into her top, stroke of genius!

 

JulianusJulius and IB both in sync, giving the first two rounds to Fernández, with La Bonita up 20-18 on his card & mine.

Quicker, more accurate hands, busier, and better defense.

 

These ladies have one common opponent: Lourdes Yoana "La Pequeña Lulu" Juárez Trejo.

Fernández lost to her via SD twice (in 2017 and 2021) and Nava lost to her via UD in 2019.

 

Fernández has only lost to world champs - Lourdes Juárez x2, Mariana "Barbie" Juárez, and Débora Anahi Dionicius.

Nava has lost to a couple of champs (Lourdes Juárez and Zulina Guadalupe "She-Wolf" Muñoz) but also quite a few randoms.

 

Shutout for La Bonita halfway (this, like Mendoza-Cordova before it, was promoted to a ten-rounder despite BoxRec still having it down for 8 rounds) on my card and JulianusJulius'.

 

Can't really be too mad at the Pretty One for not making a dent and having to settle for handily winning the rounds...La Silenciosa has never been stopped (or even dropped, as far as I can discern)

 

Just heard a commentators say "Oh Emmay Bay" (OMB is what they call the "WBA" in Spanish) - guess that might explain the bump up in rounds? Some vacant regional bauble sanctioned for this last-minute.
