Gonzalez settling in nicely, think he took that last round and is figuring out Soto's timing now.

Gonzalez is throwing 5 or so too few punches to be taking these rounds imo.

Soto basically missing everything he throws now, made to look silly at times. Easy Gonzalez round.

Yeah that's my feeling. These commentators were saying he might have won rounds, but I don't see it.

Nah he's making Soto miss and is accurate with his own work. I think he's looking the better of the two.

3-2 to Gonzalez at this stage. Gonzalez getting caught sitting on the ropes more.

I've given Gonzalez every round so far, Soto looks predictable and is not setting anything up, Gonzalez is picking him off

Yeah if he was throwing and landing just a few more punches he'd be taking these rounds pretty easily.

He is, but Soto is a 'protected fighter', so I can't help but feel that the judges are giving him every benefit of the doubt. Gonzalez needs to land a few flush combinations to put an exclamation point and take away that "benefit of the doubt".

Yeah, there's two rounds I can see Soto winning because he managed to successfully close the distance and land some shots but he's not really convincing at all. Gonzalez doing much cleaner work and looking very sharp defensively.
