    Strange analysis. I saw a different fight. The fight I saw showed Mikey Garcia using feints, throwing combinations, keeping a high work rate, staying within punching range, outlanding his opponent mean while his Broner was on the back foot for most of the fight unwilling to take "risks".

    Into a slightly more active Rigo clone.:deal: Garcia and Crawford are both ridiculously talented, like P4P Top 5 skill level, but neither have interesting personalities, both are safety first, both are dull, neither will set the world on fire, neither will ever be big stars, they're bores.

    That's what I saw too, but not once was Mikey at risk due to his use of feints, throwing combinations, and keeping a high work rate. It was safety first like Loma is aggressive yet safety first, that being said Mikey won't fight like that against a natural pressure fighter who brings effective aggression, he'll go right back on the backfoot and haul ass

    I wouldn't compare his style to either of theirs. I'm not sure who he fights like actually but not them. Crawford reminds me of Hearns and Mayweather is sort of one of a kind (although if I knew my boxing history he probably has a precursor).

    Text book fighters dont get their just dues by most, especially the casuals or those who dont appreciate the purity of that style.

    Of all the qualities I prefer in boxers those seem to be the least important.

    You must be a huge Mayweather fan.

    I disagree. Safety first are Ringindeaux, Mayweather, Lara. Mikey is an offensive fighter. Mikey stays within punching range with the intent to punch you first.

    mikey gettin a bit full of himself, remains to be seen if hes right.
    regarding his use of faints, he described almost sentence by sentence what i described would be happening , in the predictions thread.

    Garcia looked great, definitely a step above Broner in that fight. Miller beat Washington as expected, Washington couldn't cope with the pressure. Charlo's fight was ridiculous, why Heiland went into the fight like that I will never know.
