Miguel Acosta taken away in a stretcher. Rios vs. Barrera next?

Like Antwuan Maxx said, Many fighters are known to collapse after a while. Leavander Johnson passed out in his locker room I believe after his fight against Jesus Chavez. One can truly never know.

 

Anyone else really want to see Acosta fight soon??? He gave a great showing and really it was just his style was not meant for a bigger pressure fighter like Rios. Lets face it Rios is a beast. He is a LMW on fight night.

I see Acosta giving JMM a tougher fight than Rios. Just style wise.

However i think Acosta beats Soto and give JMM hell. JMM beats all 3 though.

 

Acosta earn my respect in a big way for the way he fought Rios. His trainer told him in the late rounds to hold on for dear life if he feels Rios power but he wanted to be a man and show he got guts and heart in which he did. I hope he'll be ok.

Ya he's a great little fighter with some serious pop and skills. I hope he recovers and we can see him soon.

 

Acosta was hurting, the body shots did a lot of damage also, in spite of Bernstein's bias, he was hurting long before the knock out.

 

During the postfight interview Acosta said he was more saddened than hurt, but he did say that he had been dizzy and could'nt shake the effects from the first knockdown which was in the 6th round.......

I hope its not a brain hemmorage and Acosta lost conciousness.........

......hopefully it was just Acosta still feeling dizzy and teh medics putting him on a gourney to take to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
