I like the way Acosta puts punches together. He's got the ability to out box Rios but if Rios can draw Acosta into a brawl, it could get ugly. Rios is a loudmouth *****, but he can fight! Acosta gots skills and can take some good shots, it's tough to call. I'll pull for Rios, I think the pressure could get to Acosta in the late rounds. I would like to see a grudge match between Rios and Ortiz, maybe that's why I would like to see Rios keep on track and keep winning.
Miguel by TKO or wide decision. He's a very versatile fighter. He boxes on the back foot excellently(Antillion) and can fight very well coming forward(Moses). He has a much wider arsenal of punches, he obviously posseses a vicious uppercut, but he also has a decent jab, an underrated and a monstorous right-hand, thrown straight or over the top. Plus, Rios matches up pretty well to him style-wise, he's fairly similar to Antillion, albeit a little more refined.
Why do you say only a ******* would want Acosta to win? I want Acosta to win, just to shut Rios up, but then again, I wouldn't mind Rios winning, to hopefully see a Rios vs Ortiz fight. I agree that more than likely, a 7-5/8-4 Decision would go in Rios favor also. And tonight at work, I will be doing the same, checking all the footage I can on Acosta, and hopefully get my mind made up by tonight.
Because of the insults thrown at Roach and Pac. It seems like they all turned on Rios. Rios was the boogeyman for a while just because he shut Roach up.
Rios is regarded as the next mexican american superstar by his promoters so a decision might go his way if acosta doesnt dominate :hat
Wow, you weren't kidding. Tried youtube, and youku, no too much luck. Anyone know where I could find more footage of Acosta :huh?
I have a couple, the Adjaho, Alfaro and Moses fights, unfortunately, the two different guys I received them from stressed to me that they could not be sold, uploaded, or just redistributed. I wish I could copy them and get some more of Acosta out there. But, alas, I can't. You could try e-mailing people who wrote articles on them or something, I wouldn't know how to go about it.
how many times have you seen him fight, cause even the hardcore have only seen him about 2 or 3 times....
Rios stops here , at least for now , Acosta is tough and durable enough to take Rios's walking down style and give his own back in abundance Acosta TKO 9 :deal
