I've been on the site since Nov 2013 that's 13 as in last year not 14, over 7,000 posts and made over 200 threads, I've been watching boxing for around 30 years since I was a child, not only did I watch the Trout-Cotto I picked Trout to win though not on this site, so I have no idea who you're talking about, and I have a pretty good track record for picking winners so far so STFU.
Man, I just don't know with this one. On the one hand you've got Lee's fairly consistent ability to lose the rounds against decent boxers (which may be somewhat balanced by his huge reach advantage against Cotto) and on the other Lees R. Hooks playing against a Cotto who has yet to be proven against a MW with fight ending power. Gun to my head, I would possibly lean to Miguel by points, but I wouldn't be at all surprised with a Lee KO and would be rooting for Andy.
Good fight, Miguel is untested at MW, and Lee is mediocre champ. Lee can KO Miguel but I'll side with Cotto by UD
People really picking Lee? Wow I think Cotto wins easy. Hes much better and would outbox him and break him down. Roach would have a plan to avoid the lucky right hook
Roach wasn't too keen on the fight before Lee won a belt. Although maybe the lure of a unification fight will prove too strong http://www.irish-boxing.com/freddie-roach-felt-lee-hit-hard-big-miguel-cotto/
Not sure who would win mainly because of the sheer size differences. But i know its not a fight im interested in right now. Despite his upset win which im happy for him lee is just not on my short list of opponents id like to see the likes of cotto and golovkin with. Lee vs stevens, ndam, and taylor excite me though. Anyways to get back to topic its just hard for me to really gauge how cotto would deal with that kind of size.
Anyone who understands the illusions that are created in boxing, due to, and often for, marketing purposes, can see that fight for exactly what it was. That you dont see it shows you're exactly the type of guy they are out to fool and did.
