    Geale tries looping in a right hand and scores obliquely but Cotto times a counter left hook and lands flush, staggering Geale, caught awkwardly on his toes. Cotto is circling and tossing left hooks at the head. Geale is hit on the back of the head while hunched over and his glove brushes the canvas. Not ruled a knockdown. Cotto rushes in, shoots his left out to deflect a Geale jab off the side of his wrist, and plugs a straight pike on the waistband. Geale sticks in a jab and backs out, hopping in place. Geale is sidling in, left arm low, hit with a hook.
