Miguel Angel Cotto vs. Delvin Antonio Rodriguez - Final Press Conference Live Stream

DeGuardia is giving praise to Delvin Rodriguez not only for all the hard work in his prize ring career but also commentating for ESPN Deportes and other activities.

He says of the nine blemishes Delvin has on his record (six losses and three draws) seven ought to have gone his way. His record in reality should be 35-2 instead of 28-6-3.

 

D-Rod says that it's been a long hard road and many times he thought about quitting the sport after some of those unfair setbacks, but now he finds himself as motivated as ever with a chance to beat a legend. He knows Cotto will come to fight and the fans will be in for a treat. He says it's a great undercard and will build a great atmosphere to make it a memorable event for those ringside and watching on HBO.

 

Freddie Roach gets a flowery introduction from DuBoef, who says he was pleasantly surprised when Cotto specifically asked for him in his corner.

 

Roach says Cotto has worked very hard and made lots of adjustments to his style and they know Rodriguez will bring his best and they're ready for it.

 

Cotto thanks everyone for coming. He confirms what Roach said about camp being great. He is counting the hours until Saturday night. He is focused and sharp. He says everybody will see how well he and Roach work together.

 

DuBoef says the first undercard bout streamed live on www.toprank.tv will be at 6:30PM EST. The HBO broadcast will be a doubleheader starting with Crawford vs. Klimov at 9:45pm EST.
