At this stage, Cotto has proven himself while JML is still climbing up there. I'll have to take the "Wait and see attitude" about JML. For now, I'll pick Cotto.
cotto-his future fights could be against great legacy enhancing opposition such as mosley, williams, mayweather, margarito, pacquiao & even marquez(should he beat fm) & theres always the outside chance that fights like hatton & de la hoya could still happen(this is boxing after all),i also see cotto eventually moving upto 154 which opens up even more possibilities
This thread is a joke no offense. Lopez got a bright future but come on who has he beat that was actually a good fighter? Cotto has beaten way way way way way better fighters then Lopez opponents that he beat.
I say JuanMa...without any hesitation...not only will he be better(by a significant margin IMO) he will also rival Tito in terms of popularity among PR's..
well, Cotto's already very accomplished, so i'll go with him..... no1 knows if Juanma will live up to his potential (which his has **** loads of btw.), so Cotto's the obvious choice....
Juanma. he really looks like hes gonna be the next great. Cotto still hasnt even beat somebody for there belt yet. Cotto is my boy and I love all my Ricans but Juanma is the truth.
Cotto is more accomplished at the moment but JuanMa has to potential to be BIG in the sport. I can see him going up to lightweight successfully. He does have something Cotto doesnt have: Charisma.
you cant really tell right now, but the outcome of Cotto vs. Pac will help answer this question us Puerto Ricans are pretty lucky to have two such talented fighters representing our little island on the world stage good question Uli
