Szpilka is shrimping up and tucking his chin as Jennings drops the downward-slanting right cross in behind the jab. They clinch up as Jennings walks in on Szpilka, and both whack the body. Szpilka is bobbing and swinging his stiff-backed upper body around, dodging punches while moving away from the ropes and keeping his eyes on Jennings as his head moves around his fists. Jennings walks him into a corner and lands a left hook.

Szpilka is flipping up a backhanded right jab as he uses the full large-size ring, skirting the ropes. Jennings is smacking down the light fluttering right jab of Szpilka as it comes in multiples with downward swipes of his right hand, then firing it down the middle stepping in and landing left hooks across the back of the head once inside. Szpilka is covering up and throwing left uppercuts from behind the back. Overhand lefts by Szpilka at mid-range as Jennings walks into him and plants a left hook on him.
