I like Burgos but Maidana is P4P a harder, better fighter IMO, and Broner is a lot worse than Garcia. In fact i don't think maidana beating broner was an upset as i tipped Maidana. Shocked at how easy it was and how much Maidana dominated though.

Burgos beating Garcia would be a way bigger upset to me (as i said Maidana beating broner to me wasn't an upset), but i can see why others would disagree as i have extreme bias towards Garcia, i think he is a special talent.

I think you are right to a degree on Mini Burgos being undersold here IB. But i still think Garcia will prove to be a solid class above. It wouldnt surprise me if Burgos were to have some success during the bout, but I expect Garcia to have too many options at his disposal to deal with burgos. Just my take.

I see Mikey planting him in the mid rounds

One thing I was surprised was that the bookies have Garcia favored to stop MiniBurgos before 9. Mikey can hit, but Burgos is awfully tough- and I'd be really surprised if Garcia blasts 'em out early.

Apart from Takashi Uchiyama, the Super Featherweight division is a truly garbage division.

Burgos is very ordinary, surprised HBO approved this and it's going to be a pretty straight forward win for Mikey and end the fight when he chooses.

Unless Garcia faces Uchiyama or Gamboa(moving down from Lightweight) next then he may as well move up to Lightweight where there's bigger and better fights for him.

Garcia is a crazy puncher at this weight. His timing and accuracy and power are rivaled only by Golovkin in p4p terms IMO.

Also, Garcia should be looking for a quick out of the SFW division and be making a quickish move up to LW.......his frame and power appear to me that he could potentially settle into LWW and successfully campaign there.

Call me crazy if you want, but I don't see this fight being remotely competitive unless Garcia is hiding glass somewhere. Burgos is a tough nut, but his defense is often leaky, and if there's an opening anywhere tonight, Garcia will find it and bust up miniBurgos.

    My guess is Garcia KO3.:think
