He was never a great fighter. He only had power.

Lopez looked like he was one of the Fantastic Four at the end.

He fights like the Thing, just got stretched like Mr. Fantastic, has become the Invisible Girl in relevance to the featherweight title picture, and had a Human Torch career which is now flaming off.

Actually he's coming off two KO wins over journeymen but talking important fights yeah he is coming after the 2 Salido debacles.

True, not his top win in anything but name value.

In fact, given Lopez's current h2h stock this might not have even been top 5 for Garcia so far. (I'd put Siri, JVB, Estrada, Castellanos, and Lock above this current version of JML)

generally speaking, guys not named evander holyfield, lennon lewis or wladimir klitscho are never the same after a ko loss let alone two.

juanma had the punchers chance but his punch resistance is gone.

I wouldn't look too much into this fight.

The extra two pounds didn't matter. The result would've been exactly the same had Garcia comfortably made 126 like normal.

Now, if he came in drained by sloughing it off somehow? :think

:patsch Great fighter? He had great potential. Potential is just that though, and nothing more.

Happens often in boxing. Francisco Bojado comes to mind.

If Garcia can make 126, who you got, him vs Rigondeaux? :think
