How good is this guy? Never heard of or seen him but sports a nice looking 23(19)-0, coming off a stoppage win over Cornelius Lock who just went life and death with Ponce De Leon. That fight was a title eliminator for Gamboa's title. He's fairly high in the rankings and very active so my question is... Is he a threat to the Juanmas and Caballeros of the division?
He's very good and has a lot of upside. I like him to eventually be a threat to Lopez and Gamboa, yes. Not everyone is as high on him, though. He's a work in progress, like Mike Jones at welterweight. He looks stunning against the class he's been in with thus far, though.
Snap, featherweight is getting more stacked by the minute. Fighters moving up like Hasegawa, new prospects like this guy and Russell Jr... If only it would move faster! :nut
He's looking good and is getting better with each fight. He has good technique and power. He's a threat against anyone in the division, IMHO.
