All part of getting older. :good It's natural. (unless...are we talking like a ziggurat-shaped growth? Because for that you'll want to seek medical attention...if you consider plastic surgery a 'proper' medical field...whether or not performed in the back of a van...)

 

Round 1

Arenas is throwing some of the most ridiculous haymakers you will ever see televised. Fists dropping from his face to his buttocks and then swinging outward in parabolas vaguely aimed in Abundas' direction. Abundas stays calm and circles, popping hard single and double jabs into Arenas' face and burying corkscrew right hands to the body from outside while avoiding most of the nonsense.

Round 2

HUGE counter left hook on the chin by Abundas as Arenas is charging in with wide wayward shots. Arenas tries ducking and rolling, with humorous effect, nearly teetering over and falling sideways and having the opposite of the desired effect of a defensive maneuver, actually swaying over to his right into a left hook from Abundas. Long left jabs flicked out by Arenas, checked and countered by rights from Abundas. Arenas has a bloody nose. They jab together, Abundas landing sharper. Right hand brushing the hair of Arenas as Abundas presses in on him. They bounce apart. Abundas backs into the ropes and then tries pivoting off them. Arenas taps him on the side of the head with a right hook while his legs are crossed and Abundas falls back into the ropes, grabbing them for support and setting himself right. The ref gives him a count! Abundas is incredulous but gets quickly back to work. Right hands and left hooks to the body by Abundas, closing the round strong and pinning Arenas on the ropes.

Round 3

Arenas is taking awkward spidery stilt steps in, ducking the first right hand of Abundas. Arebas tries a right to the body from too far out and misses a follow-up left hook. Abundas throws jab feints and closes the distance. Right hand over the shoulder by Abundas, followed by a FLUSH left hook that sends Arenas tumbling ass over teakettle. He is hurt but rises. Abundas goes in for the kill. Big head snapping uppercut by Abundas. Arenas is lashing out with straight shots and chucks a big left hook from the hip. Abundas chases him into the ropes with left hooks and right hands, landing 3 of 4, and the ref waves it off with Arenas looking ready to fall again.

TKO3!!

 

This is only a 90 minute broadcast...I guess they aren't televising Hirales vs. Vargas II for some reason. :conf

Round 1

Beltran is firing right hands on the body and crowding in on Ramirez with left hooks up top, caught mostly on the right arm of Ramirez as he quickly hoists it while falling back toward the ropes. Ramirez is hooking the body with his long arms on the outside and plants one on the cheek of Beltran. Hard body shots by Beltran moving in, getting him close enough to rip an uppercut. Ramirez nods respectfully and taps gloves with him at the bell.

Round 2

Beltran is jerking aside when Ramirez jabs, compass-spinning on his fore leg and doing upper body rolls in place on the outside. Beltran leads with right hands and then slashes upward into Ramirez's body up close with both hands. Ramirez is jabbing and then crabbing in on Beltran with his left bicep slamming into him, resting until the ref breaks them. Beltran is busily jabbing up at Ramirez, ducking his counter jabs, and throwing power body combos. Double left hook leaping up from a crouch by Beltran, chasing Ramirez to the ropes.

It's like they just threw a sheet down over some boards of plywood that weren't even lined up flush.

Every step either man takes causes the big Tecate logo painted at center ring to ripple, dangerously (for those of us with residual LSD in our spines from our wild youth...)

 

Round 3

Beltran is jabbing hard at Ramirez, marching him down. Big right hands up top by Beltran. Ramirez starts to answer with a 1-2 and hook downstairs and Beltran punishes him with a hard left hook above the ear, knocking Ramirez into an involuntary lateral skid. Ramirez keeps his balance and covers up, putting out jabs as he lowers his face and raises his arms while moving backwards. A few single left hooks on the hip by Ramirez. BIG right hands by Beltran, hurting Ramirez repeatedly as he rushes in. Beltran finishes the round working Beltran over with left hooks downstairs and chopping rights only partially caught on the guard.

Round 4

Beltran is jabbing hard and following with the right hand up top. 1-1-2 by Ramirez after getting positioned on the ropes, managing to drift out to center ring. Big double left hook downstairs by Beltran. Ramirez is hurt. Beltran trots in and reins up to make Ramirez miss his jab despite his superior length. Beltran moves in and hooks. Ramirez starts turning his back on Beltran and gets hit anyway. The ref admonishes Beltran. Ramirez is hounded into the ropes as Beltran bangs away, mostly on his shoulders and gloves.

Round 5

Beltran is doubling the hook to the body and hammering down with the right on the tall teenager, who is looking to hang his leaner body over Beltran like a wet blouse on a clothesline. Ramirez pushes off and throws a straight flurry into the air before moving in and tying up again. Ramirez backpedals and stumbles as he misplaces his back foot, but the bell rings before Beltran can move in and punish him.
