I think Berchelt stops Barros late.
    Nice fight though

    Wtf is Berchelt doing?
Dude was headlining on HBO vs name opponents and now this?
Dont get me wrong, Barros is decent but the whole thing seems like a big step back.

You realize Berchelt vs. Mijares was signed a few months ago, right?

Mijares is scheduled to fight Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.

In his retirement bout, most likely, as the Saucedo fight was billed as his penultimate. Heck of a swansong, even with Papito coming off a 20 month layoff, considering that he's a hard-punching natural featherweight and Mijares began his career way down at fly.

I'm glad Mijares decided to pull out against Berchelt, he deserves a relatively easy victory lap after the late career resurgence and impressive climb up in weight. Seeing him fed to Alacran would've just been sad, and wouldn't have won Berchelt any fans, either.

My point to Badbot was, don't complain about Barros, that's a perfectly solid fight and by no means a step down from bummy Awuku (the last minute replacement they scrambled to find when Mijares pulled out) and is more competitive on paper than Berchelt vs. Mijares would've been, I hate to admit.

To be honest, I thought Mijares had retired after the Kawashima fight. I was surprised when I read he was fighting
    Jr.

Oh, i absolutely agree. (Totally forgot about the Mijares fight tho)
Barros is good, but Berchelts career seems to go in an odd direction.
