The fight is happening in the Don Haskins Convention Center, El Paso, Texas. Berchelt will be defending his WBC 130 pound title for the fourth time and will be making his first appearance in the US since the Miura bout. This will be Roman's first title fight since the KO defeat by Antonio Demarco back in 2012, so after so long Roman has to be excited for this opportunity to come and he will try to make the most of it. But will question is will he be able to do it. This content is protected This content is protected On the undercard you: Miguel Marriaga vs Jose Estrella. Robson Conceicao vs Joey Laviolette. Janibek Alimkhanuly vs Vaughn Alexander. Conceicao and Alimkhanuly are ones to look out for.
Yes! Can't wait. Berchelt the better boxer and I don't think Roman has enough pop to put El Alacran in any danger. Probably be another Miura type performance from Berchelt.
Pretty much the way I see it. Roman will make it interesting for the first half of the fight but will probably be stopped somewhere in the third quarter.
Man I can not wait! You cant match up a more badass pair of fighters. This is gonna be banger. Berchelt looks like the more skilled.
I think Roman's type of pressure might pose a few problems for Berchelt, its relentless and suffocating and he doesn't need to set his feet to get off his shots, and throws from odd angles, even the methodical plodding pressure from Miura was starting to cause Berchelt some issues late, and I'm not convinced Berchelt's chin can take a ton of flush shots, but the same applies to Roman, while I think he has the better chin, Berchelt also is more accurate than Miura and has similar power. Its a toss up.
