At least 175. He started camp for Floyd at 176.

Here's a shot of him from a couple of weeks ago weighing 167.8

And here's one of him looking much heavier from one of the pre-fight press conferences for the Kirkland fight.

He could easily chase the Canelo, Mayweather or Pacquaio fights @147 or 154. I don't understand why on earth he's holding the MW title.

definitely not. very few boxers submit to that, and the chance that both are isn't that big in boxing.

Donaire did, and a couple of German guys that have an ARD contract

How can he say with a straight face that his body is not ready for 160? :patsch

He has to cut 13 pounds 30 days before the damn fight.

:deal Finally I agree with you on something. Canelo needs to get his diet right and stick to 154 where he can rule or just move up already.

    Canelo 167 - Mosley 164

    Canelo 171 - Lara 166

    Canelo 172 - Trout 171

Canelo 170 - Angulo 174 or it might be the other way round (some sources say it was this and others say it was actually Canelo who weighed 174, either way Canelo was 170 minimum.

And he was obviously over 170 when he fought Kirkland too.

As I said, Canelo walks around at at least 175lbs, Golovkin at about 170. Golovkin said he weighed 167 in an interview from earlier this year and that was when hadn't been training for over a month.

    Golovkin 173 - Rubio 181

    Golovkin 170 - Macklin 170

    Golovkin 168 - Proksa 166

Golovkin 167 - Rosado ? Not sure how much Rosado weighed but he was 175 for Quillin

    Golovkin 170 - Monroe 172

    Golovkin 170 - Lemieux 175

''He’s (Golovkin) begging (Miguel) Cotto and he’s begging Canelo (Alvarez) – smaller guys – to fight, and they’re saying there’s no money in it, and they are smaller guys.”

    ---Andre Ward

Canelo walks around at least 5lbs heavier than Golovkin, weighs almost 3lbs more than him 30 days out from a fight, and comes in on fight night about the same weight as him, even slightly more. Ward walks around at least 10lbs more than Golovkin does and weighed 180lbs in his last fight. But even if we go by Ward's only recorded fight night weight (176) from 2012, he still weighs 6lbs more than Golovkin. :patsch

And Cotto is the lineal holder and WBC champion in Golovin's division, both of which Golovkin has not only coveted and thoroughly deserved his chance to get his hands on for years, but has also cruelly been denied his rightful opportunity to do so for a long time.

Cotto weighed 166lbs in his last fight according to Freddie Roach, 4lbs less than Golovkin.

And the ''smaller'' Canelo who isn't actually smaller than Golovkin at all, will hold both of those titles should he defeat Cotto. :patsch

Alvarez's legs are very big, he's an adult now and has been fighting at 154 since he was a teenager.
